How can I translate the game?

I maintain frogatto/debian. And It would be nice if there was an easy way to translate the game to other langs. For example gettext or other variants.

I think that if there is an easy way to translate a game then there will be many translators. As variant I’m looking for a howto.

The SVN version can now handle gettext compatible .mo files.
There’s a translation template .pot file in SVN, also downloadable via Transifex.net.
