All the bosses seem to do double damage in their attacks, depleting one heart instead of half. While I admit this does make them considerably more challenging, I am not sure if this is the intended effect.

That is intended - we wanted to differentiate the damage, so everything wasn’t the same. Thanks though.

Along similar lines, the boss health bar isn’t in the game anymore – is that intentional as well? I’m not sure I’m such a fan of that change; it doesn’t differentiate the boss battles from the regular ones as well.
Now that was not intended to be - it was a bug that popped up in that release but was fixed already. Thanks for noticing!
