Hi, I can’t start the game. The screen makes it appear that the UP key would open the door and start the game, but the UP key doesn’t seem to do anything. The other keys work as described in the opening screen. I tried re-assigning UP to a different key but that wouldn’t allow me to proceed either.

You need to be standing in front of the door you want to open; walk over to the “NEW GAME” door, and press up whilst standing in front of it. Frogatto’s pixels must overlap the door for this to trigger.
If that’s not working, and if (when standing away from anything he could interact with), pressing up does not make frogatto “look upwards” whilst the key is held down, then something ain’t right.
Lastly, any joysticks/gamepads/other you have might be causing a conflict.

PS. The game is absolutely delightful so far!
